The essence of the destination

Where the world fits into one country.

Colombia is the only South American country with coastlines on both the Caribbean and the Pacific. In a single trip, you can have breakfast with arepa on a coffee hacienda, lunch on ceviche in front of a 16th-century wall, and dine under the Amazonian canopy while the jungle sings.

Here, luxury does not shout · it is felt. In the aroma of freshly roasted coffee, in a conversation with a local guide, in the golden afternoon light. CocoVolare builds your itinerary without shortcuts: selected boutique hotels, private transfers, and a dedicated travel designer.

Where magical realism stopped being literature and became everyday geography.· Inspired by Gabriel García Márquez

Can I customize my itinerary?
Absolutely. Every CocoVolare trip is designed from scratch according to your tastes, occasion, pace and budget. Zero templates.
Do I need a visa to visit Colombia?
For most European and Latin American passports no visa is required for tourist stays of up to 90 days. You must complete the Check-MIG (free) 72 hours before the flight.
How much does a boutique CocoVolare trip cost?
Trips to Colombia start from USD 1,650 per person for a weekend getaway (3 nights) and from USD 3,450 for 7 nights in boutique category with signature experiences.
Is it a good honeymoon destination?
Yes. Cartagena offers colonial romance, San Andrés delivers surreal turquoise, the Coffee Region adds intimate haciendas with dawn horseback rides and Medellín brings boutique gastronomy.
Is it recommended for family travel?
Absolutely. We design family itineraries with kid-friendly experiences: private sailing in Rosario, coffee workshops for kids, Parque Explora in Medellín, biking in Guatapé and wildlife spotting with biologists.
What vaccines do I need?
Most regions require no vaccinations. For Sierra Nevada or jungle areas, yellow fever is recommended, ideally 10 days before the trip.
How is the domestic air connectivity?
Excellent. Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena are hubs with daily flights. Typical legs: Bogotá–Cartagena 90 min, Bogotá–San Andrés 2 h 10, Bogotá–Medellín 50 min.
What currency and payment methods are used?
The Colombian peso (COP) is used. Visa and Mastercard are accepted in boutique hotels, restaurants and urban businesses. Carry some cash for small towns like Salento or Filandia.
Will there be a guide or concierge throughout the trip?
Yes. Expert local guides in each region during signature experiences, and 24/7 CocoVolare concierge via chat before, during and after the trip in five languages.
Can Colombia be combined with other destinations?
Yes. Colombia combines perfectly with Peru, with Aruba or Curaçao, with Ecuador, with Mexico or with Argentina and Chile in a multi-destination journey.
